Patagonia Property Edit (“PPE”) respects the privacy of everyone who visits this site or gets in touch with the concierge. This page explains what information is collected, why, and what choices you have.

Who is responsible

This site and the information collected through it are handled by Patagonia Property Edit, based in Bariloche, Río Negro, Argentina. For any privacy question or request, email hello@patagoniapropertyedit.com.

What PPE collects

• Information you choose to send. When you message the concierge on WhatsApp or by email, PPE receives what you share: usually your name, phone number or email address, where you’re based, the properties you’re interested in and your plans.

• Information about how the site is used. The site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, what device they use and which buttons are clicked (for example, the WhatsApp button). This information is collected through cookies and is reported in aggregate. PPE does not use it to identify you.

The site has no accounts, forms or payments, and PPE never asks for card, bank or identity numbers through the site or by message.

How PPE uses it

• To answer your questions and follow up on your enquiry.

• To introduce you to property owners, partner agencies or independent professionals, when you ask for that.

• To keep a simple record of enquiries so the concierge can pick up where you left off.

• To understand which pages and listings are useful and improve the site.

PPE does not sell your information and does not use it for advertising by anyone else.

When your details are shared

Your contact details are passed to a property owner, partner agency or professional only after you agree to that specific introduction. Once shared, they handle your information under their own privacy practices.

PPE also relies on a few service providers to run the site and handle messages: Framer (website hosting), Google (Analytics and email), Meta (WhatsApp) and Notion (enquiry records). Some of these store information outside Argentina, including in the United States. By getting in touch, you agree to your information being handled this way.

PPE may also disclose information if required by law.

Cookies

The only cookies on this site are Google Analytics cookies, used as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google’s browser add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

How long it’s kept

Enquiry information is kept while your enquiry is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you return. You can ask for it to be deleted at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information PPE holds about you, correct it, or have it deleted, by emailing hello@patagoniapropertyedit.com. Under Argentina’s Personal Data Protection Law (Ley 25.326), you may request access free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless you show a legitimate interest in doing so sooner. The Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública, the supervisory authority under Ley 25.326, handles complaints about breaches of personal data rules.

Children

This site is meant for adults considering a property purchase and is not directed at anyone under 18.

If this page changes, the date at the top will be updated.
